Appearance
Species: African Lioness Eye Color: Amber Gold Markings and Scars: n/a Height: Above Average Weight: Average Basic Appearance: Tama is a unique lioness among the Pridelanders. Her pelt is a bright tawny hue and makes it hard to believe she's the daughter of Scar. Her maw and underbelly are a dark khaki colour and unlike most lionesses, her chest colour doesn't continue up her throat, but instead rounds off her chest like a male's. Another distinguishing feature on her is this thick headtuft sprouting from her forehead. Like Kula and Nala, her paws are the same colour of her pelt. Her eyeliner is a light cream while her eyeshadow is a light chocolate color. The insides of her ears is a medium chocolate brown and her tail tuff is a dark, soft dusty brown color. Her wide, child-like eyes are a rich amber hue, a mix of orange and yellow. Her rounded nose is a soft, dusky pink hue. Tama is considered a large lioness, similar to Sarabi. Her athletic frame is packed with the muscles of a skilled killer, yet she still retains a feminine form, as her chest fur is thicker and longer then some lionesses. She stands taller then most lionesses, though she weighs around the same. She is a proud lioness, always standing tall and sure of herself. Large paws enable her to deliver quite a staggering blow to her prey. Her tail is slightly longer then the average lioness, but this added length helps her maneuver when she's chasing down dinner.
Personality and Past
Personality: Tama can be described in two words; Family Oriented. Everything this mighty yet young lioness had ever done was with the pride's well being in interest. From caring for her many half-siblings to providing food for the pride, she had never committed a selfish act. Being the eldest child of Scar, she was groomed to be a people pleaser, attending to the needs and inquiries of the family. She was one of the few who kept strong for her family during dark times. She was proud to be the shoulder to cry upon, the voice to whisper the encouragement to survive, and the figure to be a role model. While was forced to grow up fast, she made sure to let her siblings and the other cubs to retain their innocence as long as possible. She took it upon herself to preform many duties beside the honorable role as a lead huntress beside Sarafina. She babysat the children, she groomed the elders, she scouted for herds among other important chores. Tama remained a hard worker and tried to see that her pride survived her father's tyrannical reign. While she herself wasn't all that close to her father, she still holds dear the early memories of her childhood before the death of Mufasa. Tama was never a huge fan of her cousin Simba and tries to avoid him like the plague. She believes that Nuru should be the true king, as he was the one who never abandoned the pride.

about the creator
Name: Imogen Age: 21 Other Characters: n/a Roleplay Sample: A soothing hum slowly drifted off into the silence of the night. Sienna eyes glanced down as her lullaby ended and smiled motherly, seeing little Tambi sleeping soundly. It was exceptionally hard putting him down tonight, from all the excitement he suffered earlier that day. Chuckling softly, she gently lowered her head to nuzzle his cheek softly before quietly urging her tired body into a stand. Today had been quite the day for Tama, probably the best she's ever had in years. Her gaze swept the sleeping forms of the pride, a triumphant grin bearing her fangs. She was so pleased to see each and every belly swollen to it's maximum capacity, and it was all thanks to her and Nyasi. After finding the boys had returned home, she and her best friend were lucky to stumble upon a large, lone cape buffalo bull. Sure, it was one of the toughest hunts she had ever participated in, but it was well worth the danger. The kill could easily feed the large pride for a few days to come, especially with no mangy hyenas to steal it out from under her nose. Scanning the sleeping bodies, she frowned as a particular, certain someone wasn't there. Furrowing her brow, she carefully stalked out of the den, her reddish-brown eyes flashing as she scanned the area. Out in the distance, she saw a dark figure heading north. Curiosity overcoming her, the tawny female began to follow, her steps as quiet as can be. They had spent all day together, reminiscing on old times while getting to know each other again. However, Tama had some questions she deemed inappropriate to be heard by the others. As the dark figure approached Leopard Rock, Tama's curious smirk faded. She knew exactly why he was here, now all alone while the pride slept. Ignoring the tears that threatened to swell up, she hung back a bit, letting him have a few moments of privacy. Tipping her tawny head back, she eyed the sky, wondering if their old friend was looking down on them. Sure, Chumvi was no king, but he had the heart of one. A sudden gust of wind caused the lioness to shiver, but a small smile curved her maw. The breeze had smelled of him.. Sighing softly, she returned her gaze to the dark figure ahead and slowly approached him, flicking her ears back warily. "When times got really hard, I used to come out here at night to be with him. I figured he would've liked the company...being all alone here day in, day out...I always told him the stories you used to tell..do you remember those, Abby?"
